Adcock wins at Pa. Nat’l
“I think next year we’ll have a world champion,” was Odie
Adcock’s assessment after his stylish Tennessee Walking
Horse was crowned champion of the Plantation Pleasure
class in the final day of competition at the Pa. National Horse
Show on October 20.
A Manheim-area auctioneer, Adcock’s Harrisburg win
marked the second victory for his stylish steed during the
horse’s first year of competition. The season’s first win was in
May at the Eastern Classic held in Quentin, followed by a
respectable seventh-place finish at the World Championships
in Shelbyville, Tenn.
A home-bred horse, Adcock's winner was sired by Delight's
Raven out of Ebony's Maid, both owned by Mr. Adcock.
