champions will be traveling to
Louisville next week to compete in

Jagger Brothers also showed the
reserve champion Corriedale ram
and ewe,
Ohio breeders also fared well in
the Merino show. Exhibiting thc
champion ewe were Joan Hess and
Sons, of Brasada Spur Farms in
Cable, Ohio. The ram had been
named grand champion at the
Champagne County Fair and will
also be going to Louisville.
Charles R. Clouser and
Daughters of Nova, Ohio, showed
the champion ewe, which earlier
this year had been named
champion at the Ohio State Fair.
The ewe’s fine white wool, bare
face and light colored feet were
winning characteristics. The
Clousers also showed the reserve
champion ewe.
Jerry Frame, of Blue Rock,
Ohio, showed the reserve cham
pion ram.
The champion Romney ram was
shown by Jean Woodward, of
Hemlock Hill Farm, Sabillasville,
Jean Woodward, Sabillasville, Md
with the champion Romney ram.
