Extension seminar le focus
on greenhouse industry
YORK A seminar with the
theme “Around the Comer in the
Greenhouse Industry” will be held
Nov. 13 at the Berks County Ag
Center in Leesport. The program
runs from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and
is open to greenhouse growers,
plant retailers, suppliers,
educators, and other professionals
in the industry. According to Dr.
Dennis Wolnick, extension
specialist in floriculture at Penn
State, attendance qualifies as
update training for PDA’s

The program features talks on
new crops, energy efficient
greenhouse coverings and
systems, computerization in the
