With hands clasped and banners unfurled, Penn State’s College of Agriculture opened the 198# Ag Hill Festival in its just-completed Ag Arena. More than 650 friends of the College joined students, faculty and staff for the Oct. 26 Open House. Instead of the traditional ribbon cutting, Ag student council president, Douglas Hershberger, intiated a symbolic joining of hands to represent “the foundation, the framework and the future of the University." Banners of 22 student clubs in the College of Agriculture, presented during the ceremonies, will be on permanent display in the Ag Arena. Bryce Jordan, president of the University, and Obie Snider, chairman of the Ag Arena fund raising committee and University trustee, both spoke at the Open House. The $1.4 million Ag Arena was build entirely from private donations. . Ag Arena is dedicated Standard at 46.25, one Utility at 42.75. Few Standard slaughter heifers 41.00-46.25, Utility 34.50- 40.00.
