    Apple Market News
Monday, Oct. 22
Report supplied by PDA
Demand today is fair to light and
prices have been remaining
steady. Supplies are increasing
due to a slower market. Most
buyers are reporting that the slow
market is due to the excessive
warm weather we’ve experienced
during the past week. Weather
reports indicate a slight cooling
trend to begin Tuesday and con
tinue until at least Thursday of this
week.
The export market is looking
good with many growers par
ticipating in shipments of apples to
Saudi Arabia last month. Several
other countries are looking at our
apples, notably the countries of
Central America and Northern
South America.
According to information
received in our office last week
from the Export Promotion
Division, Foreign Agricultural
Service, U.S. Dept, of Agriculture,
Taiwan is interested in 2-4, 40 foot
the grain dryer that only needs
a little understanding.
Our round base levels quickly on any terrain.
Add fuel and power supply, load grain
into attached hopper, set controls, ignite burner
and begin your own grain drying operation.
Handles Grain
with Care
Moridge Dryers have been
designed to minimize kernel
damage wherever possible
We feed directly from loading
auger flighting to the
flighting of the recirculating
auger, we measure grain
temperature rather than air
temperature; steeply angled
walls of bottom cone
increase flow of grain to
base of the recirculating auger;
and we even added a
3-speed transmission* for
varying speed during drying
and load-unload cycles.
400 bu model pictured-275 and 712 bu models also available
containers of apples per month.
Quality: brix - 12 degrees above
and acidity - 0.45% above. Stan
dard export packaging, delivery,
ASAP. Quote GIF Keelung. Apples
for producing juice, therefore all
grades and varieties acceptable.

Beginning next week, the Apple
Market News survey will be made
on Tuesday of each week rather
than Monday. This should give us a
better picture of the market each
week.
