Joseph Benzak was the top bidder paying $5 per pound for the grand champion owned by Jane Landin of Lansdale. Benzak Meats also purchased the Reserve Champion Lamb for $2.75 a pound. Lamb Sale County agent Nancy Kadwill expressed appreciation to Benzak and all the buyers for their support of the 4-H livestock program. Appreciation was also extended to the staff of the Perkiomenville Sales Auction for conducting the sale. Other 4-H’ers participating in the event were Chris and Greg Muse of Perkasie, Mark Schellenberger of Lansdale, Joshua Landis of Perkiomenville and Craig Kinsky of Lansdale. Buyers included Renzak Meats of Bethlehem, Hennings Market of Harleysville, John Black of Skippack, Scholl’s Trucking of Perkasie and Baum’s Meats of Lansdale.
