Bucks County crowns Holstein Show champs WRIGHTSTOWN - Ninety-six head of dairy cattle recently competed in the Bucks County Holstein Show at the Middletown Grange Fairgrounds, Wnght stown, judged by Leroy Fiance, of Wellsboro. Grand champion of the show was the first-place aged cow showed by Harry and Ailene Thompson - an Elevation daughter which had the best udder in her class. The reserve grand championship also went to the Thompson’s with their first-place four-year-old, a Pete daughter with the best udder of the show. Scott Landes exhibited the junior champion - an intermediate calf sired by Bendmead Magic of Lm- Con. The reserve junior champion rosette went to Craig Walton with his intermediate yearling sired by Vincent View Molly Chief. Premier Breeder banner was won by the Thompson’s and the Premier Exhibitor was the David R. Walton family.
