Philadelphia Eggs
Thursday, September 20
Report supplied by USDA
MARKET COMMENT: Prices
are unchanged. Trade sentiment
steady at best. Cartoned egg
movement is light to fair and
unaggressive._ An occasional
producer-packer notes retail or
ders for this week’s promotions of
mediums as “quite disap
pointing.” Graded stocks are
adequate to heavy with mediums
in the largest supply. Ungraded
supplies are generally adequate in
the heavyweight classes while the
lighter weights are usually in
excess of current needs.

Slaughter schedules are heavy.
Live supplies are at least
adequate. Undertone weak.
Today’s L.T.L. asking prices are

discounted.
