    Peach Market
Wednesday, August 29
Report supplied by PDA
Demand for peaches during the
past week has been very good to
excellent. Early L' the period,
supply was running close to
demand and by week-end, supplies
began to drop, due to cool nights
during the period. Today, supplies
are running far behind demand.
There are peaches available
throughout the state and buyers
are searching for these. Prices
have been continuing to increase
as supply has been dropping.
Growers report adequate supplies
of Cresthaven and Redskins, which
are now beginning to mature.
Picking will begin on these
varieties toward week-end, thus
insuring adequate supplies for next
week.
Prices quoted are wholesale,
truckload, f.o.b. at the orchard or
packing house in Adams, Berks,
Franklin, Snyder and York
Counties.

A Bearcat
Costs
You Less.
The actual price
you pay is less than
some two-wheel
drives with front
wheel-assist. They
pretend to give you
four-wheel power,
but they cannot
match in either the
power output at
the drawbar or the
tractive ability to •
get work done. You * v
get more for your dollars with a Bearcat
right from the start.
Helps You
Farm Better.
When you put a Bearcat in the field you
start saving again, because of less soil
compaction than a front-wheel-assist,
ability to get in the field sooner and in
Raw Power. For example, the CM-225
delivers an amazing 195 Horsepower
to the drawbar. So you’ve got 225
engine horses with almost 200 in the
back actually doing the work. No two
wheeler can match that.
