Road.

August 10 on the Gordon
Wood farm, 6 miles
from Mansfield and 4
miles from Wellsboro.
There were 70
Holsteins sold and 3
Jerseys. The top cow
was a grade Holstein
and she brought $1225.
The second high was a
registered Holstein for
$l2OO. The average of
the animals sold was
$7OO.
Gordon Wood was the
sales manager.
The Annual Amish
Parochial School benefit
sale was held August 11
four miles west of
Mifflintown near the
village of Center along
old Route 22-322.

grade Holstein cows and
heifers was held August
11 by Rita-Mae farms,
12633 Coppermine Road,
Un|on Bridge, Md.
The top selling
registered Holstein cow
brought $1135, the 2nd
sold for $lllO, and the
3rd for $lO5O. The top
price for a registered
heifer was $1025.
The average of the
registered and grade
animals including the
heifers was $626.
