The event is taking place Wednesday, August 22nd, -12:45 p.m. at the Holiday Inn of State College. Buses will leave Ag Progress Days from the headquarters building at 12:30. Bailey served with distinction in the U.S. House of Representatives. He served on the Education and Labor Committee and the Armed Services Committee, and was a member of the prestigious, and powerful, House Ways and Means Committee. Bailey was the most highly decorated Vietnam veteran ever to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives. Don was initially elected a precinct committeeman, and then was elected to the Democratic State Committee. The Penn Ag Democrats is a statewide organization of farm and rural democrats who work for the advancement of agriculture through the Democratic Party and its candidates. The organization is affiliated with the Democratic State Committee and works on behalf of candidates at the local, state and national levels. Mem bership is open to all residents of the Commonwealth who are associated with agriculture.
