Champion went to J&K-Vue
Rhonda, owned by Johnathan
Boop. Reserve Champion was won
by J&K-Vue Astrochief Else,
owned by Gerald W. Boop, Jr.
Five Holstein steers were
auctioned off to raise money to
build a new livestock bam at the
Laurelton fairgrounds. The
animals were donated by Harmony
Springs Farm, New Berlin; Clar-
Dot Dairy Farm, Mifflinburg;
Lumreek Holstein Farm,
Millmont; San-Be Farms,
Millmont; and Zi-We’s Dairy
Farm, Mifflinburg.
The fair, held Aug. 6-13, drew
record crowds. More than 80 dairy
cattle were entered in the judging
this year.
