MARKET COMMENT: Prices
unchanged. Undertone weak on all
sizes. Cartoned egg movement is
somewhat irregular but only fair
overall. Best demand is usually
reported where retail features are
planned or in progress. Graded
supplies of large are adequate or
available. Extra large are in
balance to fully adequate.
Mediums and smalls are easily
available, and many sellers in
dicate active movement into
breaker channels. Jumbos are in
irregular balance.

Market Comment: Movement of
ready to cook whole birds remains
irregular. Some plants are
clearing product satisfactorily
while others find demand highly
cautious and movement a struggle.
Parts contineu to clear with dif
ficulty, causing some plants to
curtail cutting operations. Live
supplies are adequate. Weights are
in a full range. Slaughter schedules
are moderately heavy. Undertone
barely steady.
Today’s L.T.L. asking prices are
unchanged on U.S. Grade A at 52-58
cents.
