A Public Auction of a complete dairy herd of 45 Holstein cows was held July 31 by John D. and Dorothy Gartrell, 9734 Bartgis Road, Frederick, Md. Of the 70 people there, 28 qualified to buy as they were in the Milk Diversion Program and had letters from their local A.S.C.S. office.
