1.50 in trading this week, with
closing levels at the full decline.
Sharper losses appeared im
minent but extremely light salable
receipts curtailed a sharper down
turn. Overall finish ran the
poorest in some time, with the
upper levels of the Choice grade
poorly tested at midweek. Cow
prices advanced 3.00-4.00,
recovering all of last week’s
downturn. Bulls 1.00-2.00 higher.
Estimated 5 day receipts 7600;
actuals last week 8395 and last
year 9120. Steers comprised 47 pet.
