VEGETABLES Peach Market July 23-25 This week’s peach market, as reported from South Carolina and Georgia has been good to moderate, with prices gradually increasing. Last Thursday, prices were at the weeks low of $5.00-7.00 for 2%”, % bu., all varieties, F. 0.8. By weekend prices were upt to 16.00-7.00 with supply dropping off and demand in creasing. This shortage was due mainly to rainy weather and to the fact that growers were in between varieties. By Tuesday and early today, conditions improved and prices have leveled off to |7.00 for 2V«” up, % bu. F. 0.8. Present conditions indicate that this market may continue steady for a while. Very little activitiy is reported in Pennsylvania as yet. Growers are still reporting that the crop will be EVERGREEN TRACTOR CO., INC. u«y Tft m PARTS Good Fit. Great Cutting HAY TOOL PAH lb Action. Most growers in Pennsyvlania have not yet begun to pick. Some picking activities are expected to pick up toward the end of this week. A few early varieties have been sold but not enough to establish a true market. I will report these prices in the summary but only as a matter of information to readers and not the indication of a market.
