movement is irregular but about
moderate overall. Floor stocks are
in uneven balance but at leasts
adequate in most quarters. Ad
ditional offerings are light but
sufficient to handle current trade
needs. Some traders are noting a
decrease in receipts brought in
from more distant production
points as a result of increasing
production within the area.

Market Comment: Movement of
ready to cook whole birds is
moderate to occasionally good.
Demand for parts is quite
irregular from plant to plant but
overall clearances reflect a
slowdown in inquiry for several
items.
Slaughter schedules are heavy.
Live supplies are adequate to fully
adequate. Weights range mostly
desirable to heavy. Undertone
steady.
Today’s L.T.L. asking prices are
unchanged on U.S. Grade A at 53-58
cents.
