Bucks County 4-h is hosting 10 4- H’ers from Kenosha County, Wisconsin, as part of an exchange between the two 4-H teen groups of July 13-19, 1984. The 4-H’ers will stay in homes throughout Bucks County and enjoy such activities as exploring Philadelphia, touring the Bucks County Courthouse, visiting the New Jersey shore and tubing down the Delaware River. Beth owns a total of 30 Registered Holsteins from her family’s herd of 200. Contest rules and regulations were read to all contestants and their mothers at a tea that was held on June 12. An orientation and practice for the pageant was held on June 30, at McVitty auditorium on the Indiana University of Pennsylvania campus. - BN
