No till beans planted HARRISBURG - A field demonstration of No-Till Soybeans was recently completed at the Lower Dauphin High School. According to Joel Myers of the USDA Soil Conservation Service three separate plots were planted by local equipment dealers. Shuey’s Sales and Service, of Ono, provided a White 5100 Com Planter. Soybeans were planted in both 38 inch and 19 inch rows. Umberger’s Mill, of Lebanon, provided a Tye Drill to plant ap proximately 1/3 of the five acre It’s the Model 316 from the baler leader Sperry New Holland.
