Lancaster Society 1 met at the
home of Mrs. Franklin Weber on
June 2 with Barbara Ann Hershey
serving as co-hostess.
Society 1 and Society 34 will
entertain Conestoga View
residents on July 19.
Lancaster Society 10
Lancaster Society 10 took a trip
from Southern Africa to the nor
thern coast via narrated pictures
provided by Mrs. Mabel Werner.
Her program included life in
missions, churches, schools and
homes in various parts of the
country.

William and Mary Hoke,
missionaries to India for 30 years,
gave an illustrated talk and
showed mementoes of their days
there.
The next meeting will feature a
workshop to make blazing star
Christmas balls with Amos
Wanner at the First Presbyterian
Church in Strasburg.
Berks Society 7
Berks Society 7 recently met at
the home of Annette Pawelski, R 1
Robesonia, for a plant and white
elephant sale.
President Grace Dietz an
nounced a 1984 state project,' the
"Making of Any Item,” and the
youth project this year will be a
photo or drawing contest.
The next meeting on June 27 will
be a safety program at the home of
Dorothy Strieker, R 1 Robesonia.
