week’s levels. Even though car
cass beef trade remained steady,
buyers were rather cautious and
bearish as most expressed un
certainties about beef trade
direction. Slaughter Cows ex
periencing bearish type demand,
closing .50 to instances 1.00 lower
than last week’s levels. Slaughter
Bulls steady.
Estimated 4 day receipts 9,700;
actuals last week 11,898 and 10461
last year. Steers comprised 52 pet
of the week’s receipts, Heifers 36
