The auction will feature 50 beautifully handmade quilts of variops sizes, designs and colors. Among these will be traditional favorites such as The Lone Star, Tree of Life, Double Wedding Ring, Dahlia, Eight Point Star, Log Cabin, State Flower and Nine Patch. A specifically designed quilt of the school's emblem will also be sold. The auction will also feature antiques, furniture, vehicles, household & recreational goods, crafts, plants, toys & services. Specific items of interest include a new grandfather clock with solid brass hardware and Westminster chimes, A “Mint” condition 1970 Chevrolet Impala, Yamaha Motorcycle and AMF Snowmobile. Quilts will be auctioned at 1 P.M. A Pancake and Sausage Breakfast will be served from 6:30 A.M. Followed by barbeque sandwiches, soups and salad bar. The auction will be held at the worship center, 2384 New Holland Pike (Rt. 23), Leola, Pa. The location is approximately 4 miles east of the Rt. 23 Exit off Rt 30. The Living Word Academy Christian serves 206 students in Grades K-8. The school provides a Christ centered approach to education by integrating God’s word with sound academic instruction.
