Dr. Van Buskirk said that the earliest date for lifting the quarantine zone west of the river would be June L While speaking only for the PDA, Van Buskirk added that the USDA and the state are thinking along the same lines. In other related news, the Pa. Poultry Federation states that the new target date for completion of the eradiation of flocks which were infected with the mild strain of avian influenza is June 21. The final flock will be depopulated on that date. In the meantime, 13 flocks totalling 1.1 million birds are scheduled for depopulation through May and early June. As of Tuesday, May 15,24 former low path flocks had been depopulated, totalling 762,D00 birds. The USDA reports that two flocks in the former low path category have not yet been scheduled for depopulation. Wood or Stool flit Out Feeder for/ easy access.
