Montgomery hires no-till coordinator
NORRISTOWN - Montgomery
County Conservation District has
hired Bill Steuteville as Coor
dinator for the expanded No-Till
program this year.
A graduate of the University of
Nebraska, Steuteville has acquired
a good deal of experience with No-

For much of the last ten years
since graduating from Cheltenham
High School in Montgomery
County, he has been working on a
large corporate farm in Nebraska,
where he has planted and managed
production on thousands of No-Till
acres. As foremen at Andersen
Farms of Nebraska and while
working for Shell Chemical Co. on
a No-Till fallow wheat program, he
has seen no-till work and he
believes in its future for American
Agriculture.
The Conservation District also
has added two planters this year.
Along with the Tye No-Till drill and
J.D. No-Till planter used last year,
the district has added a second 38”
planter and a 30” I.H. No-Till
