Lane. Co. begins search for poultry queen
LANCASTER The Lancaster
County Poultry Association is now
accepting applications for the title
of 1984-85 Lancaster County
Poultry Queen. The queen will also
serve as alternate state poultry
queen. Eligible contestants must
be single, must have completed
their junior year in high school and
must not be over age 23 at the time
of the banquet. Contestants can be
members of families directly in
volved in poultry farming or
families or employees of a poultry

The year’s banquet will be held
on Friday, August 3, at the Farm
and Home Center, Lancaster. The
contest winner will receive either a
$500.00 college scholarship or
$300.00 in cash. The runner-up will
receive either a $200.00 scholarship
or $lOO.OO in cash. All contestants
will receive a prize for competing.
