Approx 350 carriages and sleighs of all types and descriptions, horse and
pony size, will be sold throughout the three days and will include hunting
and sporting carriages, four-in-hand coaches, commercial vehicles, hay
and farm wagons, two and four passenger sleighs, pleasure carts and
buggys This auction includes more quality and better horse drawn
vehicles than we have had the opportunity to sell at one auction in quite
awhile For a more detailed listing contact our office for brochures
Catalogues are available for $8 00. listing by photo and description of all
horse drawn vehicles in Saturday's session Thursday's and Friday's
sessions of horse drawn vehicles are not catalogued but will include
approx 250 carriages and sleighs of all descriptions and in various
conditions Some of the vehicles include sev. hearses, milk wagon, 4-pass
hunting break, restored 3 seat surrey, ong demi-mail phaeton, omnibus &
brouham in very good ong cond, livery wagon, restored runabouts,
buckboard, to name a few
Fire Fighting equipment includes Parade torches, leather water buckets,
“The Star Gong” brass fireman’s bell in oak case, sev red, black & white
lacquered cloths over leather w/leather straps & fireman’s belt,
designating positions held, fire lanterns, Dietz Fire-King lantern with
“Seagraves", all brass with extra red globe, Dietz Fire King lantern with
brass bottom, restored fire alarm boxes, Anderson Baltimore original Fire
Equipment Catalog, Male Swinging Harness & Fire Dept Catalog, 2
catalogues, Dietz 1906 Re print Catalog, Hook & Ladder lamp, H&L #l,
many firemen's trophies, brass nozzles, silver plated speaking trumpet,
inscription reads, "Presented to the Asst Chief, Bethlehem Fire Dept,
May sth 1883”, 21” high in excellent condition, brass work trumpet, 14’
high, parade fire axe, Viking style, circa 1880, Fireman's parade uniform
consisting of leather hat w/brass eagle (front shield, nickel plated)
marked in brass “Montgomery No 1, 1847”, in original box, fireman's
parade belt w/cut & stitched leather letters, also marked “Montgomery ',
full length wool coat w/brass buttons & matching cap, metal badge marked
"Montgomery” w/a gold letter no 1, dated 1847, Restored Edwin Cook
Hose Co No 1 Hose Wagon, hose cart used by "Saville Fire Department",
horse drawn ladder wagon, restored chemical wagon, restored horse
drawn ladder wagon, horse drawn Fire Chief’s wagon, several fireman's
helmets (some made of leather), & many other nice clean collectibles
Antique furniture and miscellaneous antiques, china, glassware, general store items and primitives will
include a nice assortment of oak and mahogany furniture
Thousands of lots of coaching, driving and equestrian equipment, horse related items of all kinds, carriage
and wagon parts, blacksmith and primitive tools, sets of new & used harness, harness parts, foot warmers,
carnage lamps, lap robes, sleigh bells, carriage wrenches, holly whips. Also miniature carriages & sleighs,
baby carriages (some wicker), flat bed utility and carriage trailers, 'B2 Chevrolet crew cab diesel pick-up

Eight horse drawn & commercial vehicles from the Collection of It. Col. J.R Henry of Lancaster County
Penna. will be sold with tnfe proceeds donated to the Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island Foundation for the
resoration of the Statue of Liberty.
