has announced the addition of
three new rotary cutters to his
Squealer line, the most popular
line of rotary cutters in the world.
Bush Hog is one of the largest
manufacturers of farm im
plements in North America.
“Since its introduction in 1982,
the Squealer line of rotary cutters
has become the fastest selling
cutter on the market because of its
rugged design and economy
price,” Weaver said. “More than
25,000 Squealers have been sold,
many to part-time farmers. ’ ’
The new 36,42 and 72-inch rotary
cutters complete the line which
already includes 48 and 60-inch
wide models.
The 36-inch wide cutter is best
for small acreages or for farmers
with severe space constraints, for
example, Christmas tree growers,
with their tightly packed, narrow
rows.
The 42-inch and 72-inch wide
cutters are designed for routine
maintenance of larger areas.
In addition to the new models,
Weaver said, the Squealer line of
rotary cutters has been ex
tensively re-engineered to provide
increased performance. The
gearbox, designed and patented by
Bush Hog, features a straddle
