LANCASTER A group of
citizens concerned about the
proposed expansion of the Creswell
Landfill in Lancaster County will
hold a public meeting on Tuesday
at 7:30 p.m. at the Letort School in
Manor Township.
The Lancaster Area Refuse
Authority has said that it may
purchase a 660-acre tract from
PP&L and then trade some of this
acreage for land which adjoins the
landfill.
The citizens group has invited
the adjoining landowners, John
and Abram Barley and Turkey Hill
Dairies, Inc., to attend the public
meeting in order to make known
their views on the proposed ex
