County 4-H program recently held
what may have been the biggest
flea market ever held m Lebanon.
Stands filled the large exhibit
building at the fair grounds and
surrounded sections of the parking
lot.

was to raise fluids for the 4-H

Grumbme ot Myerstown said the
flea market was expanded this
year.
Last year, the first attempt with
the flea market, clubs and
businesses were asked to donate
items for sale. After several
requests to rent tables at last
year’s flea market, it was decided
to expand and do just that.
The success was phenomenal.
More than 70 stands filled the
building and several tables were

set up outside. The 4-H’ers also
sold hot food and homemade baked
items.
A special attraction was tables of
new denim and corduroy jeans
donated to the 4-H program by
H&H Tack Shop in Annville.
The result was wall-to-wall
buyers for several hours. Sellers
were able to profit, buyers found
wanted items—and, the ultimate
goal-funds for the Lebanon County
4-H program was achieved.
