Ladies, I need your help.
Puree raw or cooked fruit using as little juice as possible
The thicker the less drying time. Then spread evenly and
thinly in a jelly roll or cake pan Pans may be lined with
plastic wrap or just spread lightly with grease. Put on heat
You can put it in the oven at 125 or 150 degrees with the
door open or sun dry it. Leather is dry when the surface
isn’t sticky. Loosen edges with a knife and pull off. If it pulls
apart, it isn’t dry enough. If it sticks, it is too dry. Add a thin
layer of fruit or wet with a little water and dry again Roll up
as a jelly roll. Leather keeps for one month at room tem
perature, three months m refrigerator or one year in the
freezer.
