Following the passing of the
resolutions for 1984, new officers
were announced by the nominating
committee. Succeeding to the
presidency is Craig Rhein, Pine
Grove. First vice president is Dave
Norman, Liberty, and second vice
president is John McConnell,
Volant.

Fredonia, owns over 200 Jerseys
with his wife, Angie, son, Brian,
and daughter, Jackie. His milking
herd averages over 13,000 pounds
milk and is consistantly among the
highest in the state. Don is a past
director, vice president, and
president of the Pennsylvania
Jersey Cattle Club. Don is an
approved dairy cattle judge, and
also received the Young Jersey
Dairymen award from the national
club.

Pennsylvania State Bred Heifer
Sale was given by sale chairman,
Don Koontz. The sale is scheduled
for Friday in Mercer. Anyone
desiring a catalog should contact
Koontz at 3016 District Road,
Fredoma, Pa 16124. Thirty-six
head are catalogued and "the

Koontz reported.
