Apple Market News
Monday, March 19

Demand is continuing to be good
and prices remain steady. There is
a downward trend in supply as
more packers are finishing
operations for the year. Sales last
week show a continuing strong
market in 12/3 bagged apples as
six grower, packers, shippers
report movement of 35,635 cartons,
12/3 bagged apples, and sales of
8,265 cartons of traypacked apples
show a substantial increase over
last week.
This will be the final Apple
Market News report for the 1983-84
marketing season.
