classified by weight in 30-dozen cases, and traded in lots of either 300 or
750 cases. Prices are FOB buyers dock, and are computed Tuesday and

Market Comment: Movement on
ready to cook whole birds is
slightly improved today, but still
remains on the light side. Ad
ditional products remain available
but not to the extent of earlier in
the week. Breasts and cutlets are
clearing reasonably well. Other
items are easily available but a
slightly improved inquiry was
noted for weekend arrivals.
Overall slaughter is light as an
occasional plant is not operating or
has cut back on the kill. Live
supplies are adequate at generally
desirable weights.
Today’s L.T.L. asking prices are
1 cent lower on U.S. Grade A at 59-
64 cents.

stocks while fully adequate to
ample in relation to current orders
are regarded as in good balance
with projected needs. Offerings of

and tend not to offer them.
