Omaha Cattle
Thursday, March 1,1984
Fed Cattle prices registered
very little change on the Omaha
terminal this week, with closing
levels steady to 50 cents higher
than a week ago. Advance.-) m
dressed beef realizations and
modest salable numbers were the
mam factors providing strength to
the market. Muddy cattle again
posed problems in the trade, as did
light-weight, under finished of
ferings. Some relief was provided
on the latter category by pur
chases to return to feedlots. Cows
1.00 lower. Bulls steady.
