wide trading center for producers, packers and marketers. GNR eggs are
classified by weight in 30-dozen cases, and traded in lots of either 300 or
750 cases. Prices are FOB buyers dock, and are computed Tuesday and
Thursday of each week. This week’s prices for each classification were

Market Comment. Movement on
ready to cook whole birds is mixed
Some processors find the demand
improved and supplies clearing
quite satisfactorily. Others find
only a modest improvement and
some additional product still
available. The inquiry for legs and
leg quarters has increased for next
week’s delivery. The demand is
fair for the adequate supply of
breasts while cutlets and wings are
fully adequate under a light call.
Slaughter schedules are
moderate. Live supplies are
adequate Weights have increased
and are at least desirable in most
quarters today Undertone steady.
today's L T.L. asking prices are
unchanged on U.S Grade A at 61-67
cents.
