Tree seedling sales
Tree seeding sales are now under way in the Lancaster and
Dauphin County Conservation Districts.
The deadline for placing pre-paid orders in Lancaster is
Friday, March 23. Pickup date is Friday, April 13.
Order deadline in Dauphin County is Thursday. April 5, and
pickup is scheduled on Saturday, April 28.

The dairy exhibit was "well
received by teachers and
students," England said, and
many teachers had explained to
their students ahead of time what
dairy farming is. Several teachers,
he added, asked to schedule on
farm visits for their classes.
While the program was geared to
elementary students, the public
was invited to visit the displays.
Overall, England said about 1,600
students visited the dairy stations.
