Slaughter Steers and Heifers
closed 1.00 lower, instances 1.50
lower. Both classes poorly tested
at midweek. Cows steady to 1.00
lower. Bulls generally steady.
Trade opened moderate, but
turned slow at midweek. Lower
quotations in wholesale beef
channels and declining cme prices
major factors * in downward
pressure on live sales. Majority of
supply Good to Choice 2-4 Steers
and Heifers with 22% Cows and
Bulls. Receipts this week 1500 as
compared to 2048 a week ago and
1700 a year ago.

• There will not be a commission or yardage fee
deducted from your check.
• You may call our office Monday morning and we
will be able to tell you the base price for hogs for
the day.
