closing trade Slaughter Steers and
Heifers showed losses of .50-1.00 on
final rounds this week. Most of the
decline occurred at midweek when
dressed beef prices deteriorated
and most buying interests turned

recovery. Overall finish was
mediocre with many weather
stressed, muddy and lightweight
cattle in the receipts. A fairly
liberal outlay of cows was well
