    Best dairy goat doe honors to Susan Miller
FARM SHOW Best Doe in the
Dairy Goat Show honors went to
Susan E. Miller, R 1 Furlong,
Bucks County, in the windup of
competitive judging at the 1984
Pennsylvania Farm Show on
Friday, Jan. 13.
Other top honors she won in
cluded the grand and reserve
grand championships in the
Lamancha breed.
The top doe, Rockspring Tonka
Ultra Violet, also took grand
champion and best udder honors at
the past year’s National Show in
Louisville, Ky.
Ann Miller, also of R 1 Furlong,
took the grand and reserve grand
champion titles in the Toggenburg
classes.
Dennis Dominic, of R 1
Fogelsville, Lehigh County,
exhibited the grand champion
Saanen doe and the reserve grand
champion recorded grade doe.
Other top double winners were
Cheryl Eschbach, of R 1 Kempton,
Lehigh County, with the grand and
reserve grand championships
among Nubians and Fred Leader,
of R 1 WellsviUe, York County, who
captured similar honors in the
Alpine classes.
Edward Sellers, of R 1 Alexan
dria, Huntingdon County, took the
grand championship in recorded
grades; while Tracy Bowen, of
Port Royal, Juniata County,
showed the reserve grand
champion Aaanen doe.

Dr. Wefald also served as

1977. He was very active in the
