of on-farm forages for cost
effective feeding programs.
A native of Northville, N.Y., Dr.
Perkins received his B.S. in
Biological Sciences from Cornell
University, his M.S. in Animal
Science from the University of
Vermont, and his Ph.D. in
Reproductive Physiology from
Cornell University. His experience
includes graduate teaching at the
University of Vermont and Cornell
University in animal nutrition,
reproductive physiology, en
docrinology, and lactation
physiology. Prior to joining
Pennfield, Dr. Perkins worked as a
dairy management consultant,
providing nutritional and
reproductive management service
to dairymen in New York state. He
also has extensive experience
working on dairy farms.
