First the good news. Demand for
Stayman Traypacks is strong and
prices are good. Now for the rest.
Demand for bagged apples is poor.
Movement is way off and prices
are low. lAI reports the highest
inventories in 5 years in the region.
With the smaller crop this -year,
inventories should be much lower.
Processing reports too few loads
purchased to establish a market.
No change expected until January
1984.
Juice loads - $3.00 to $4.00, very
few $4.50, but not too much ac
tivity. Juice stocks are high.
