ALLENTOWN The grand
champion steer was exhibited by
Andy Wagner, Northampton
County, weighing 1238 pounds at
the Bucks, Carbon, Lehigh,
Montgomery, Northampton and
Schuylkill Eastern Pennsylvania 4-
H Beef and Lamb Sale, Saturday,
Nov. 19, at the Allentown
Fairgrounds. The buyer, Danny
George of George’s Foodliner,
Bethlehem, paid 2.65 per pound.
Seth Gruber, Lehigh County,
showed the reserve grand
champion steer weighing 1258
pounds and was sold for $2.60 per
pound. The buyer was Bill Martin
of Greensboro, Nc.
The champion light weight steer
weighing 976 pounds sold for $1.06
per pound and was bought by
Charles Mackenzie, Allentown.
The steer was exhibited by Phil
McMahon, Montgomery County.
Dwaine Schultz, Northampton
County, showed the reserve light
weight Champion steer, weighing
1011 pounds and was purchased by
Danny George, George’s
Foodliner, for 85 cents per pound.
The champion medium weight
steer weighing 1106 pounds sold for
85 cents per pound and was bought
by Danny George, George’s
Foodliner. The steer was exhibited
by Lori Cesanek, Northampton
County. Debra Krause, Lehigh
County, showed the reserve
medium weight champion steer,
weighing 1180 pounds and was
purchased by A 1 Schaedel,
Allentown, for 90 cents per pound.
The grand champion individual
lamb, weighing 113 pounds was
sold at $2.20 per pound to Denny

Reserve Medium Weight Cham
pion lamb, weighing 110 pounds

The reserve heavy weight
champion lamb, weighing 124
pounds was sold at 90 cents per
pound to Rose Valley Farm, New
Tripoli. It was owned by Lewis
Trailer, Lehigh County.
The sale, as was the show on
Friday, was conducted by the
Agricultural Extension Service,
with the County Agents of the six
counties in charge.
