Due to the health of the owner, the
decision has been made to sell all milking
animals and discontinue milking for the
present time.

Poultry Co. now in bankruptcy under
Chapter 11.
PARCEL NO. 1
All that certain tract of land situated in
Straban Township, Adams County, PA. Con
sisting of approximately 15 acres being im
proved with the following described structures
and contents; a 45’ x 50’ continuous poured
concrete 85’ tall automatic feed mill containing
a Howe-Eichardson IBM card batching
system, 200 H.P. Clever Brooks boiler, 2 - 200
H.P. Hammermills, 250 H.P. pellet mill and a
40 ton mixer. Also in the mill area, which
covers approximately 11 acres, there is a 35,000
bushel grain tank, a 60 foot Howe-Eichardson
scales and 500 ft. of rail siding which ties into
an additional 500 ft. of siding which provides
rail service for a bulk blending fertilizer plant
consisting of approx. 2 acres and having ap
prox. 1500 ton storage capacity. This is a
cement block and wood structure with a non
corrosive roof. There is a 2 ton Sackett blender,
an incoming and outgoing Sackett bulk-toter,
24,000 gal. liquid storage, payloader, fork lift
and necessary equipment for application.
Adjacent to this plant there is a 40’ x 80’ garage
with an additional 15’ x 60’ parts room. This
cement block structure is located on approx. 2
acres with 4 - 4000 gallon under ground tanks
with a 2-pump fuel island. General garage
equipment (air compressor - welder - press -
crane, etc.) included.

Tyrone Township, Adams County, PA. Con
sisting of approx. 5.5 acres, being improved

Feed mill consisting of 2.5 acres having 2-40
H.P. Sprout Waldron pellet mills, 2-3 ton
vertical mixers, 2-40 H.P. hammermills, ap
prox. 300 ton bin storage for feed and raw
ingredients and a York-Shipley 125 H.P. boiler,
Outside mill there are 6-36 ’ diameter gram
bins with 200,000 bushel capacity, 4 -1000 bushel
tanks with 6,000 bushel capacity, 4 -1000 bushel
batch dryers with 1000 bu/hr (hying capacity
and a 30 ton overhead load out tank. At en
trance to this facility is 30’ x 70’ 2-story central
office building with a 50’ truck scales along
side. Adajacent to feed mill is a 3-story 12,000
sq. ft. frame building containing 5 marvel
midget flour mills and wheat cleaner, scalper,
shaker, middling duster, 2 bran dusters, grist
stone, 3 ton screenings bin, 20 ton midds gin, 25
ton flour bin, and 25,000 bushel wheat storage.
