In this position,, he was responsible for recruiting, training, and supervising member service personnel. His earlier experience at Eastern included on farm technician service and livestock supervisor at Ithaca headquarters. Heckman earned a bachelor of science degree from Cornell University, majoring in animal science-reproductive physiology. He also graduated from the University of Massachusetts Stockbridge School of Agriculture with a major in animal laboratory technology. His background in cludes experience in dairy farm work and assisting veterinarians with animal care. Heckman is married, has two children, and resides at Lititz, PA.
