Charolais. Amy was also named Champion Showman and placed 3rd in the Intermediate Fitting Class. She also showed the Champion Charolais heifer. Reserve Grand Champion 4-H Steer was shown by Tim Spangler, Gettysburg. He also placed 4th in the Sr. Fitting Class and 6th in Sr. Showman Class. Tim also had a first place heifer in the Crossbred heifer class. Mike Spangler, Gettysburg, had Champion Heavyweight Steer. Adams County and York County 4-H members will be competing .together in the show. The steers will be sold about 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 25 at the Thomasville Livestock Auction. The sale is a competitive bid auction with highest bidder getting the steer. You are especially in vited to attend and support these youth by buying a steer.
