Montgomery plans no-till day
NORRISTOWN - The Soil
Conservation Service and
Cooperative Extension Service of
Montgomery County are hosting a
no-till visitation day on Thursday.
The tentative schedule includes
visits to the following county
farms:
10 to 11 a.m. Arlin Halteman,
Fields at Rt. 73 & Greenhill Road,
Cedars. Crops include no-till
soybeans alter barley, no-till com
after barley and no-till timothy and
alfalfa (tentative).
11 a.m. to noon Bernard
Slemmer, Rt 113 & Moms Road,
Lederach; no-till com after barley.
1 to 2 p.m. Tom Nlkerle Farm,
off Rt. 73 on Neiffer Road, Obelisk;
no-till com after old hayland, no-
