16th Annual Harvest Fair &
13th Annual Horse Plowing Contest
Saturday, September 10 -10 am -6 pm
Sunday, September II -12 noon -6 pm
Admission: $2.00 for adults Special rates for groups
$ .25 for children and senior citizens
The large 19th century bank barn houses a fine collection of antique
horse-drawn farm equipment.
Harvest time farm activities, 18th century craft demonstrations and
fireplace cooking will be featured both days.
Activities on Saturday include horse plowing contest, tread power,
corn grinding, thrashing with ring power, road grading and log loading.
See our famous “big hitches" -- ranging from two to sixteen head of
horses. Ponies and oxen will also be plov/ing.
Sunday's activities include horse pull (all entries filled), plowing with 8
horse hitch, a covered wagon 6 horse hitch, and Windward Farms 4
horse hitch.
We will also be making cider with steam engine power and have our
restored saw mill in operation.

the precommercial state, Pioneer
X 0403.
