Peach market news
Peach Market
Wednesday, August SI
Report supplied by PDA
The Peach market continues to
fall in week seven of the Peach
Market News. Demand has been
very poor.
The major newspapers
statewide were contacted and
requested to print Peach articles
stating: "Now is the time to buy
peaches for canning, freezing,
cooking and eating... Peach Season
is in full swing...”.
The quality of peaches is ex
cellent! !! Hopefully, this will
stimulate the consumers into
buying peaches and thus increase
the wholesale demand for peaches.
Loring and Sun High are
finishing. Blake, Cresthaven and
Jersey Queen first picking has
begun.
