Double Time to ABS
Double Time, previously on lease to American Breeders
Service, has sold for a record-setting price of $500,000 the
most ever paid for full ownership of a proven Simmental bull
in North America. This young polled son of Mr. Clean was
owned jointly by Nickeson Simmental, Veblen, S.O. and
Stough Simmental, Charlotte, Mich.
“The potential for Double Time is tremendous," com
mented Robert E. Walton, President-of ABS, in reference to
the stud's investment in this proven sire. "The Nickeson herd
has produced a significant number of bulls for A. I. They are
among the top breeders for identifying superior genetic merit
in their cow herd and successfully selecting mating programs
to capitalize on those genetic traits.”
