feature streamlined design, lower
purchasing prices and Bush Hog’s
trademark of quality.
The new design eliminates 30
percent of the parts, a money
saving improvement; yet, ex
tensive testing has proved that the
new models handle loads better
than the cutters they replaced.
Strength has been achieved
through use of primary members,
called strongbacks, built into deck
frames. Other strength features
include attachment of the gearbox
base assembly directly to the
framing members, a Z-band
design, and unitized steel deck
construction.
The deck design improves the
looks while eliminating pockets
that could trap water or trash.
Rear deck tapering gives better
trash flow without windrowing.
Optional economical safety
chains that bolt on can be replaced
individually. Front safety chains
tuck under the skids to completely
